Wears the carpet

Having successfully located the carpet in Sam's room - I have mananged to hoover it! Any tips on how to get a 7 year old boy to tidy his room up would be gratefully received!

So far, I've tried bribary (in several different guises), withdrawal of fun (like play time), withdrawal of toys (like taking away stuff) and good ole fashioned shouting and screaming (I think they like that one best). He's more than happy do the laundry - taking the clothes downstairs, loading the washing machine and pressing the buttons and he's even happy to push the big ole dyson around (as long as it doesn't start eatting the curtains - then he screams a lot), or do dusting. It's just tidying up those troops of Lego figures and heaps of books he will not do. Mind you - has anyone ever seen rich's desk? :) (runs and hides)

Oi! Although my desk is somewhere beneath several strata of paperwork at least I know where everything is on it. Or at least vaguely where it is.

I once got told off by the H&S people at work for having a "fire hazard" as a desk.*

*Not actually true - it was someone who I worked with.

As far as I know, it isnt possible, my 21 year old is not known as Stig for nothing.

It'll be the same only different (bits of car or similar instead of Lego) when he's 22.
